new prohibit mags?

All the police know is if its a centre fire rifle its five rounds. They have no idea about bulletin 72. Look at the video of the guy with the xcr and lar mags. The cops seized his rifle and then returned his property when they discovered they were wrong!

Wow. Let me try to set you straight.
Your LAR pistol mags can be used in your 7615, and they can hold 10 rounds legally.
If Remington made a 30 round mag for the 7615 it would still have to be pinned at 5 rounds.
You did not have to pin your LAR pistol mags to use them in your 7615.

This ^^^^^^^end of story.
Initiate lockdown and lights out.

I talked to RCMP, call them and save two years in jail, I didn't believe it either. SUCKS FOR SURE, just letting all know.

You are wrong and whoever you talked to at the RCMP is wrong... pistol mags that fit in rifles DO NOT require pinning... no matter what you put them in, they retain their status as a pistol mag... this topic has been beat to death for years.

The LAR mag functions in the 7615, The LAR is a pistol mag, the 7615 rifle mag is 5 round, if Remington made a 30 round mag for the 7615, it would be legal, I had to pin the LAR mag to 5 round to comply with mag regs as informed by the RCMP.

What the ???? ..... SO MUCH FAIL on this post! LOL hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

ask 10 lawyers a question and you will get 11 answers, thanks for all your input, it must have been a Tuesday.

Here, I'll post it for you - right from the CFC website:

4. Magazines designed for one firearm but used in a different firearm

The maximum permitted capacity of a magazine is determined by the kind of firearm it is designed or manufactured for use in and not the kind of firearm it might actually be used in. As a consequence, the maximum permitted capacity remains the same regardless of which firearm it might be used in.

Example:
The Marlin model 45 (Camp Carbine) rifle chambered for 45 Auto caliber uses magazines designed and manufactured for the Colt 1911 handgun, therefore the seven round and eight round capacities are permitted. A similar example is the 10 round capacity magazine for the Rock River Arms LAR-15 pistol, regardless of the kind of firearm it is actually used in.

I think we all should, and maybe they will become properly educated in the laws they enforce. Not cop bashing here I just think its quite amazing the same person trusted with enforcing the law (while armed) doesnt even know what they are enforcing!
