I got distracted by my kid and forgot to have a closer look. I believe it was turk 12''-14'' Over-Under, changeable chokes IIRC.

Many thanks in advance

If you're talking about the Calgary Gun Show last weekend, you're looking for the Nickle Plated receiver version of this... They sold out the black receiver version within 48 hours of them clearing customs and going up on the website...

This one is mine, you can't have it :p

Here's a link to the nickle plated receiver ones. Don't think about it too long. They're going to vanish:

http://www.corwin-arms.com/product/ricol-14-short-over-and-under-screw-chokes

The specs are:

14" BBL
12 Gauge, 3 inch Chamber.
Comes with 4 chokes - Cylinder, Improved Cyl, Mod, Full (the website says "Two Cyl, Mod & Full" - but what I listed is what mine actually came with).
Beretta/benelli mobile choke system
30.5" OAL (website says 31, I think they rounded up, I did my own measurements).

My little Christmas Gift to myself, you can look, but don't touch. This is definitely in my "Cold Dead Hands" collection:

Grelmar how do you find the sites?

I was having trouble looking down them at the show because it was so crowded...

It shoulders naturally for me, and I'm mostly a "rifle guy" so the sights are a natural to my eye with a standard cheek weld. I find them pretty easy to pick up and point.

Very comfortable and pointable overall. I haven't gotten to the range with it yet, hoping to break away this weekend to specifically work some rounds through this and my new Zastava rifle. So, no range report, but some guns just "feel right" even before you get them to the range.

I expect it to kick like a mule. This is a lightweight 12 gauge, with all that implies.

Are the black ones the same price as the nickle? I think they look great in either colour!

Black and Nickle were the same price. However, the black receiver ones sold out almost instantly, and are currently unobtanium.

Yup. 6 months from someone asking about the possibility of something like this getting made, to Martin having a batch in the country and flying out the door. Weirdly, some people were complaining about how long it took. I think they seriously underestimate the effort it takes to get a factory to do what is, effectively, a custom run of guns, get an FRT# for them, have the production run make the guns, jump through all the import/export hoops with the country of origin and Canada Customs...

I think Martin did an amazing job getting these done on such a short turnaround. The price ended up being higher than some would have like, but having it in my hands... I'm seriously happy with it. Well worth the $$

Bingo! Many thanks! So who's actually making them?

It's a super secret squirrel club thing as to who's making them. "Ricol" is a brand that Martin at Corwin-Arms is using, kind of like "Dominion Arms" is actually CanadaAmmo's house name for products they bring in (mostly from China, but not all of it is).

These guns are made in Turkey. Benelli and Weatherby both have shotguns contract made in factories in Turkey, along with some other fairly well known labels.

It's 100% speculation on my part, but seeing as these are fitted for Beretta/benelli mobile choke system, well...
