Bushnell vs vortex

Hey guys just wondering how a bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x50 compares to a vortex diamond back 4-16x42. Any input would be great. Thanks

The Elite 6500 is more comparable to the Viper series. Between the 6500 and Diamondback, the 6500 is the far superior scope.

Sorry I meant the diamondback hp. Would you still say the elite is on the higher end?

I have an Elite 6500 4.5-30 X 50. Not the same scope, but I find the reticle lines are way too thick for anything longer than 200 yds.

kb does have a point that the reticule is on the thick side, but I'd still go with the Japanese made Bushnell. The glass is of comparable or better quality, the multi-coatings on the Elite 6500 are better than the Diamondback, and over all the scope is better built. The one thing I will say is that Vortex warranty is way faster than Bushnell.
