M14 glass bedding Norc stock

I did before I replaced my factory stock. There was a slight accuracy increase but I found the biggest gains were from installing a solid oprod spring guide and shimming the gas block. Also you should be able to slide a piece of paper between the front ferrule and the gas block, so keep that in mind if it may influence a decision to upgrade the stock.
 
I've done it once with good results. You might want to fill in the empty space behind and under where the heel of the receiver sits with epoxy putty to give a more solid base to work with. If your ferrule is in contact with your barrel band then prying off the ferrule and sanding down both the stock and the ferrule base before putting it back on should do the trick. Remember that after bedding there should be around 7lbs of downward pressure on the barrel band from the stock to keep proper tension on the front end - look up the coat-hanger trick in the stickies (I think it should be there, or if not it's probably in one of Tonyben's videos on Youtube)

we did bedding the plastic stock at my last m14 clinic

use marine tex epoxy paste.
drill small holes into the plastic in the areas to be bedded to give the epoxy some "tooth: into the stock.
very hard to get anything to stick otherwise.
the bedding techniques are same as duff or lapino et al.

Can anyone provide a write up for doing the plastic stock? I know it'll be different from the USGI since its molded differently on the inside and different material..
