I have a 338WM I acquired in trade. I want to get it set up for range shooting and hunting in the fall. My father-in-law has a 300WSM that he mounted a Nikon prostaff on. I've handled it and it is an impressive optic for the price. Not sure how it would stand up to the recoil of a 338WM with no brake?

No issues whatsoever, we've had them out on 50 BMG's cracking away. Enjoy!
