Has anyone ever had feeding issues out of the box with a Henry Frontier?

Friend of the family bought one and it will not chamber at all. Round gets stuck on the feed ramp, apparently. Lever jams up, what have you. Are they ammo fussy?

I'm not 100% but this sounds like short stroking the lever to me.

Henry customer service is great - I had a mare leg and was speaking to them ab the sights and they mailed me new ones and no charge - I also have a henry mini bolt for my daughter and the extractor was worn out - called henry and asked them if I could order a new one and they sent me a new one also at no charge.

Well Henry's excellent customer service mailed me out some new wood, and it arrived yesterday and fits beautifully.
