How many rounds was shot from that rifle? Did you do a full strip and clean? If so, could be a worn recoil spring?
I am not 100% sure how many rounds went thru this, but considering it doesnt have a scratch and I mean not 1 scratch, I dont think many..... if any. But that still doesnt explain why the bolt wont close all the way after inserting a mag and trying to chamber a round. I have since cleaned and oiled the rifle. I went out and got some better cleaning rods. I really REALLY oiled it up and it sems to chamber better now. Tomorrow I will try again.....
Have you tryed the 10 rnd pistol mags ?
Just was at the gun shop last thing today and grabbed a AR 10 round mag....will try first thing and post back
