canadian black rifles and optics with bdc reticles (trijicon, elcan etc.) question

There is one 55gr (M193) 5.56mm round and it stopped being an issue in the 70s (it was crap and 55gr continues to be craptastic).
My 69grain match load is within 0.2MOA of 62 grain SS109 out to 500m.

You should be able to find the MOA/mil descriptions of your reticles to see if they fit your ammo/barrel/velocity. Contact the manufacturer.

Green tips is right, with Mil BDCs a hit is a hit and since most troops are useless beyond 300m they are almost an investment in futility. POA/POI 0-200m, helmet at 300m.

Yes it will.

TA11 with AE 55 grain fmj. 20" barrel. Aiming dead on at all ranges, using the reticle.

425 yards 10 rounds.

500 yards, two different groups (yellow and blue).

600 yards.

5 rounds fired. Four in and just above rifle, one low in the leg of the fig 11. After this my buddy put 7 out of 10 into this target.

Awesome! this is prettymuch what I was wondering about, Thank you very much sir its great to see that these reticles will actually work when a non specific ammo is used, yeah if that's dead on with a 20" barrel hopefully removing an inch and a half of barrel shouldn't cause too much deviation from the reticle curve wise.
thanks again man!

yeah I understand that, but I was just thinking that if these BDC's are designed with 600 meter markings in them, then you should be able to holdover with the reticle and make hits at 600 meters, like your vehicle, if the speedometer goes to 200, that vehicle SHOULD be able to do 200 and not limit out at 150, cause if it can't then you just got lied to by the manufacturer and whats the point of having a speedo that goes to 200 when the car will only do 150, know what I mean
