Picked up this gem off a CGN'er today. Have had my eye out for one of these for a while and last night decided to finally pull the trigger.

This is a very nice old #### & click dewat that came with one 5/32 magazine and an original MP40 sling

One thing I noticed when I got her home is that it appears a former owner etched their name into the left side of the bakelite foregrip. It looks like it was done with a knife or other sharp instrument and says "Nagel". One could hope that it's the name of a former German soldier that carried it but who knows...

Thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses were in the concentration camps and were executed after Hitler said he would exterminate them for not supporting or participating in the activities of which the Nazi party wanted all to espouse and support. Instead they spoke out against it. They remained neutral non participants, would not kill or participate in the war machine, and thus were enemies of the state. They were assigned the Purple Triangle to identify them in the concentration camps. I believe next to the Jewish people they were the next largest group targeted for extermination by the Nazi's.

Edit...........never mind, I looked at the date. I am very envious!!
