Sako a7 vs tikka t3

IMO yes, if you are comparing like for like (synthetic/stainless (blued), here's why.

-Nicer stock (with cheek piece)
-Short action (if you're looking for a SA caliber)
-Better mag system
-Top load feed capable
-3 lug bolt
-Bolt unlock feature
-Factory Weaver style bases included

Some may say "Who cares, save the extra $ for better glass". The higher cost was worth it for me.

I recently asked on a FB page if anyone who bought a T3 in a SA felt like they were ever handicapped or disrupted, unsatisfied or any worse off ....
I had heard a lot about the One action thing an SA in Long actions etc.. truth is, its Very very moot point from my research

If I were to decide all over again, T3. I prefer the action. Barrels are the same. Metal finishing on Sako may be better.
Inspect both and decide for yourself. You really can't go wrong with either one.

Better yet, find a used Sako m75 or m85 rifle in the EE section and be way ahead. Nothing wrong with the A7 or T3 as I have owned 2 of the T3's in the LS model and I picked up a A7ss 270WSM with Burris scope pkg deal for my nephew in June 2014 for his new hunting rifle. Was a great buy on sale all in with GST for close to $1130.
