Beretta .22

Still do (at least as of yesterday)....... I just ordered a couple.

Interestly they also have the guns at $399. Trigger Wholesale (who I believe is the importer) shows a MSRP of 425.

I'm not sure what Wanstall's thought process is with having them priced at $499..................... maybe they are just trying the old "sell fewer at big margin" business plan?;)

In all fairness to Wanstell's I think they just got them in while S&J has had them for quite awhile. Maybe there has been a big price bump?

I'm afraid with an 80 cent dollar we may be seeing more 20-25% price bumps. :(

S&J hardware describe their mags as " used factory mags, made in Italy" (29.95)
yes what we have at the moment are original
when we run out, we will be getting the aftermarket mags, but we will test each aftermarket mag to make sure they work.
.22 mags can be picking for any gun, that just the way .22 are.
but for now we have the factory mags

Epps must have the same warehouse as Wanstall's....they have a bunch listed at $499 too.;)

They list in the description "re-manufactured barrel" so it does sound as is these are re-barrelled 71's. I wonder where and by whom they were altered?

I'll have to buy some!
I bought the triple k mags and they are junk. Originals work flawless in mine.
Awesome guns, especially for the price. I have a 4.2"

Triple Ks work as well in my 71 as the OEM Beretta mag.

The only ammo it won't cycle are 333s. For some reason they hang up on the ramp. EVERYTHING else goes through it like 5hit through a goose.

Thanks, did you have it cut down?
I see you have the push button safety model.

I bought it off a CGN member. The original short barrel was cut off at the block, the block was drilled and threaded to accept a new, longer barrel. It's nice because the block retains the original part that fits in the frame and serial number.

I have one of these beretta 71 with 6 inch barrel. I used to have a beretta 87bb with 3.5 barrel years ago but I traded it off. I wonder why they don't import any with the 6 inch barrel when they were still in production.
