JP ENterprises Reduced Spring Kit (yellow) for my AR. Brownells and Midway are both out of stock. Is there any sponsors or suppliers in Canada who carry that kit? Thanks in advance.

I tried the JP hammer/trigger spring kit and it was a waste. The trigger return spring was way too light and would barely reset the trigger. The hammer spring can be accomplish by cutting a leg off one of the regular springs....the trigger spring just needs a slight bend. Skip the polishing.

My professional post acquisition recommendation is to wrap them in a bore snake and throw them in the nearest garbage can.

I've had the jp yellow spring with a Bill Springfield trigger in my favourite lower for 8 or 9 years and have gone through several different uppers and almost 10000 rounds with no problems. No issues with light strikes with Tula, wolf, privi, norinco, S&B, reloads, or American ammo.
That being said, my rifle is a range only gun and has never seen any hard use/is always clean.

Nothing but problems in my AR
Whoopsie, sorry everybody - just realized I have the red springs, not the yellow springs.
Stopped dealing with J&P because of their smoke and mirror claims on their springs and other products. They also tend to use longer than stock springs of smaller wire diameter to increase strength because they are cheaper to form than shorter thicker wire ones...causes instability, bowing and drag in most cases. I often use a site called "wayback machine" and do a search on their products to find their original adverts and have been shocked to see how thick and deep they pile it on for their claims on some of their products. Not fun to have to pay $9 return shipping to get $9 worth of refund on something they deliberately mislabel. Decent marketers, lousy engineers IMHO.
