Mossberg Blaze

Well, looks better than that tacticool lever action monstrosity they came-up with. I think the designers of THAT gun might have been blazed when pencil hit paper. :) As for this rifle...I bet there isn't a SINGLE part on that gun interchangeable with an actual AK...but have a hunch the powers that be in Canada won't let it in. No problem with most AR-ish type 22s like the SR-22, Keltec and Remington VTR...but when military guns actually LOOK very close to the guns that inspired them, out pops the retstricted tag...or worse. Thinking M&P 15-22, Armi Jager AP 74, etc. Then again..Mossberg got away with the 715, and it's a pretty faithful copy of an AR.

There I go again...trying to make sense of how guns are classified in Canada. :)

It reminds me of the Remington viper all plastic POS from the 1990's. I wonder if it will die a quick death also?

Yep.

I recall an incident at my club a couple years back. Some old duffer had his grandkids with him and they were shooting BB guns that looked vaguely like AK's at about 12 yards on the .22 range...I've never seen these things before or since and have no idea where he got them...but the next thing ya know, Grampa and the kids are in chit up to their ears for shooting prohibited weapons! The club executive came down on them, the cops drew up a big notice and posted it all over the bulletin boards - and I was seriously tempted to tell those anal retentive wanks to go sod themselves. Can you imagine? They were bloody pot metal BB guns! They looked about as much like an AK47 as a Red Ryder looks like a 30-30! Any idiot -except for maybe the morons at the CFC - would see that they were toys. And they were kids at a club, being supervised by an adult! It just makes my fuggin blood boil. An old duffer, out for an afternoon with the kids, gets grilled over the coals for something like that? When you gun club executives whine that you can't get volunteers or involve the membership in club issues and activities...maybe you turd brains should ask yourselves why that is....?

Sorry for the rant, but some people really need to get a clue.

The Remington Nylon worked, why wouldn't this? The AK this is a little cheap looking and I don't see the point but if someone has been waiting for something like this than good for them.

Not many semi's worked as well as the nylon's did. and remington's last venture into the plastic gun was an absolute failure with the 522viper. But you never know this might be the next nylon. I cant find a vid of one in action so I'm guessing these don't exist yet as a functioning firearm?
