Anyone own a Russian manufactured variable power scope? They seem to be sold with decent quality glass but without any warranty which probably means zero after sale parts/service.

Worth it or a risky crap shoot?

They are very good, glass quality on par with $700-$1000 western scope. Warranty depends where you buy. Westrifle and Corwin Arms both sell them and do offer warranty on them, they are official distributors. If you buy from "babushka express" meaning suitcase import from Russia there is no warranty. I own two of them and each scope has its own serial number so if it was bought from official importer warranty is no issue

Interesting. I've asked one of the 2 sellers you mention twice now about warranty and never got a answer to my questions in they're responses.

Those are Russian military scopes if you get them and they work you would probably never need warranty. We are official distributors of Russian Nosvosibirsk POSP scopes. We are exclusive and offer warranty.
