I have been using RCBS presses since 1994. I had single stage presses, progressive conversion kits, and finally the Pro 2000 Auto Indexing progressive with bunch of top and shell plates that I got 4 years ago.
Now they come up with two new progressive presses, 5 and 7 station. 5 station's msrp is $2 more compared to Pro 2000. They use different shell plates and top plates. They are all rated as 600 rounds per minute.
Why would they do that? I just don't get the logic...
