Yet another Hurrr moment to share/ask about. Thought I'd ask out of the FAQ thread as the 161 pages wasn't making it an instant find & google didn't help.

The gas valve went missing on first shot Yesterday from my rifle naturally out in deep snow... action didn't cycle that was my first clue...Followed by make safe and inspect, epiphany of no gas valve present. I can only assume I did not have the gas valve properly locked as I had switched from 62gr at setting 3 to 55gr at setting 2.

Rifle is otherwise in fine condition on full strip and inspection.

My assumption is these parts would be required at min. on the attaced pdf pg 5

2.2 Gas Valve detent
2.3 Spring Multi Purpose
2.6 Gas Valve for 223, 18.6 barrel.

I contacted the shop I bought the rifle from and he advised "you're not the first guy to do that" but then he didn't know cost of parts & had to order them. Was he just making me feel good?

Wolverine can send you one. A poor design on an otherwise fine rifle.

How can you blame the design. The rifle is put together, or it's not.

Don't shoot your rifle, until it's put back together. ;)

Op, you should only need the valve. If the detent and spring are missing, you'll probably need the whole gas block.
The shop you bought from, will have to get the parts from Wolverine. Jump the middle man.
