bench prime tool

the primer feeder on the forster is a pain, stick to the RCBS, the filler tube holds more primers and is less then a pain to refill.
Changing from case to case on the rcbs is as simple as changing your shell holder, the coax has a universal claw that you have to fiddle with and set with screws, not such a easy change.

I modified my RCBS with a key ring and a spring from a lawn chair, drilled a hole in the arm, tapped it and inserted a machine screw to hold the spring, now the handle come back up all by itself rather then having to lift it all the time.

Every loading press I have has a gizmo of some sort for setting primers. Why would you want a second machine if your loading press already has the ability?

I size on one press, prime on the auto primer, while my powder is dispensing, and then I dump the powder and seat the bullet on a third press. Sometimes when I am lucky I size and prime and she charges and seats the bullets. Makes running 300 rounds of rifle in a sitting go by fast, 32 minutes a hundred for 6mmbr and 28 minutes a hundred for 223.............

The primers are not being set deep enough on my lee.

I'd suggest that there's something wrong with it then. Perhaps see if something easy can be done to fix the issue.

Or if it were to turn out that it's a shortcoming in the design of the Lee primer setting parts then I'd ditch it and move onto a better press. Both my Hornady and my really old turret Lyman presses do a lovely job of setting primers.

Yodave, if you're working like this I'd suggest that you'd be a prime candidate for a turret press. It'll run stuff like you're describing all on one press. And in fact a Dillon 550b that you either half index or don't index at all would do all you're describing neatly in one press.
