I found a picture of his gun:

That gave me a chuckle...

I agree with the idea of closing this now. When (or if) the OP can produce a legitimate photo of this hideous monstrosity rather than a descriptive paragraph, he can do so in a separate or new thread. To those that insist this is real, surely you must realize that lying on the internet is common and easy to do; nobody has any reason to believe that this farfetched project is under way. Turning on fellow gunowners? GTFOHWTBS.

I told burt he should call the knob at backwoods again, he is just worried about the guy completely dicking him around. When he called last time the backwoods guy kind of threatened to slow down even worse if he called again.

I feel bad for burt, his $3000 gun is sitting in pieces at a "backwoods" gunsmith's shop and he cant do anything about it. If it was a $250 savage you could tell him to send it back in pieces.

grow up Robert

Where's the fun in that...:d

So when we call Back-ward's Gunsmith we need to state that there isn't one, but dozens of prospective firearms customers waiting for the completion of this rifle; that their prompt and satisfactory work on this nerf gun, opps I mean firearm will be scrutinized by dozens and potentially hundreds even thousands of avid Gunnutz and that any further delay will not be in the best interest of their business...;)

How's that sound?

Everyone remember............DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO BACKWOODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what Guys I am not going to get into this silly slamming.

I have sent two gun jobs over to Backwoods and he got the job done well. It takes time just like any other shop/business. Prior to this I took a rifle into another large gun shop and it took 10 months to change the front sight. I feel your impatient pain but it is time to grow up lads. I am sure he will get the job done right. I wouldn't want to rush him if I were you.

I know I will continue taking jobs over to him. Actually on the positive side, the more you piss him off he will put your gun to the side and work on mine first - lol.

Good luck my friend I will look forward to seeing the pics of the finished job too.

Cheers,

Musky, ...............you are so right about not rushing him, he has threatened to make things even slower if burt rushes him, anyways, his promise time came and went long ago, now he is just looking worse by the day

gunsmith or gun-disappearing act magician? Am I right or amirite. This is one entertaining thread. I don't believe anyone in their right mind would call their business Backwoods anything. Troll level 11 I'm guessing.

I can't believe I'm losing another 15 minutes of my life that I will never get back, but OP, just go get your bag of parts and send it to someone else. Why is that so friggen difficult ? Any reasonable applicator should be able to get it done in 2-3 weeks. Although he might have to order the colours. LOL.
