Freshly Loaded Match 308 PICS!

After a batch of 308 this evening I was struck by how beautiful freshly loaded ammunition is and thought it was worth a few shots with the camera. These are Federal Gold Medal nickel cases with Matrix Ballistics 185 Gr VLD match projectiles loaded to 1.883". Enjoy the show!

I'm using Varget (43.6 gr) and I'm set at mag length. I'm seeing tight velocity spread ~2560 fps, great accuracy from my x-bolt.

Brass are experienced. They were stainless tumbled.

you need to buy a rotary style tumbler and not just the media. you can build your own or buy various brands thumler's tumbler is the most common. i can't remember his name but there is a member her who sells (or used to) stainless media 5lbs for $45 or $50, someone will chime in.,
