Flash hiders, thoughts?

So I was downing the AM coffee, working off last night's whiskey, and perusing the seemingly endless array of options out there (for those south of the boarder anyways).

Some hide, some enhance, hell it seems everyone with a interest in machining and a bit of creativity is producing something. There are some interesting takes out there, and some just blatant "##### extensions".




For 99.9% of us, the non professional non competitive shooters, the amount of flash suppression is a moot point. If nothing else, they can serve to personalize your favorite firearm. Each to his/her own I guess, the joys of individuality.

For those of us who compete, a flash hider won't do much but a comp will save hundredths of seconds per shot, which translates into enough time to make a difference in a match.

Actually after shooting indoor at the last match I went back to FH on my short barrel AR.

The guy that created that really must be puny...After having a not so short barreled AR, anything to reduce that explosion in my face!
