Scope flip up lense covers

Hi guys

I currently own a Vortex viper pst 4-16x50 rifle scope. I want to buy Butler creek flip up lense covers. My problem is that the flip up cover sizes are either slightly bigger or smaller than the scope eyepiece. For example my eye piece on my scope is 1.63 inches in height or 41.402mm and the corresponding butler creek covers are 1.66inches/42.2mm or 1.605 inches/40.8mm. They do not state inside or outside diameter. here are the corresponding links

You have to go to the store selling these covers and try them on your scope... That's what I did... This is the only way to get the right size

ya you can get em off of amazon.ca I wanted the vortex flip caps but they are $30 on amazon and out of stock in some stores here

My local canadian tire sells these, take in the scope and find the right ones! That's what I did.

On one of my scopes the Butler Creek covers fit a little bit loose, I put a wrap of electric tape around the end of the scope to make the cover a snug fit.

I have the same scope. I use a 43 Objective and 16 Eye. The 43 is a perfect fit, the 16 is a little loose. I don't mind the loose 16 Eye, as this makes it easier to remove to reduce the chances of scope eye.

I had (2) broke both within a short time Butlers are just not made that well

14 eye, 43 objective. I have the exact same scope. Fit nice and snug.
