This is what I'm using now in a Rem 798, only because i haven't seen Reloader 22 in a while. i was getting close to 3300 with R22.Nosler 150gr Ballistic Tips and IMR7828...24" sporter barrel...3200fps, shoots into an inch easy at 100 yards...Only need to dial in 11moa @ 700 yards and it smacks the gong every time in the calm.
Nosler Accubonds 140 gr Imr 4350 max load from Nosler reloading site, 3150 fps in a 22"barrel. 1.28" 3 shots at 300 y
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm open to trying a few bullets. In Winnipeg its tough to find powder. It seems impossible to buy Nosler Accubonds anymore. I like SST's too. Maybe I'll go hunting for some today.
RD............you might want to give Marshal a call at Matrix bullets.........made in Canada and available all the time, in your hands in 10 days or so and if you want to buy 1000 he can accommodate you. These bullets are second to none in accuracy and as a hunting bullet and I speak from personal experience. I will be hunting Africa again this fall but with Matrix bullets this time.............
I was considering his bullets until I looked at his website.
I'm all for supporting Canadian vendors and all but I refuse to pay in US dollars as he charges.
When a Canadian charges with a foreign currency he's lost my business.

Very few of you supported this business prior to recently changing to USD, all of a sudden its lack of respect! it's actually just common sense since I pay for my jackets, permits, and shipping in USD.
95% of sales are US, do some math, I'm going to loss 30% of it all so a FEW Canadians can get cheap bullets.?
Where were you when $ was at par? buying US that's where.
NO, BUYING IN CANADA! as for cheap bullets, how so? I never said I wanted them for a 30% discount. If you are selling for $10us and $13can I have NO PROBLEM with that, what I have a problem with is going to a site in canada and being priced in US dollars. As a canadian, I find it a total lack of respect for canada.
I guess you haven't seen the packaging have you?? lack of respect for my country? not likely!
