Glock trigger advice

this thread has made me look in to upgrading the factory trigger on my g17 gen4. i was thinking about the ghost rocket 3.5lb kit with the phantom adjustable trigger from rockyourglock. any of you running this setup? opinions?
 
Honestly, in my opinion, I would try the Ghost rocket 3.5LB connector first. If you like the trigger pull with the Ghost connector,then you are good to go. If you still looking for lighter pull, then keep on modding but keep in mind that if you are trading the stock springs for lighter springs, there is a chance the you may get light primer strikes (I am sure someone will correct to me on that)

is it the firing pin safety spring that determines the force of impact for the firing pin? if it is, the kit comes with three; 2, 4, and 6 lb.

Stock springs are fine and will work with different types of ammo.

Polishing the parts made a huge difference in my Glock.

The hard pull is not a problem in Glocks, the 'wall' you get before the break is the 'problem' in stock Glocks.

You can spend $150 on a new trigger assembly or polish the parts yourself.

While all of the above did improve the trigger pull, the firing pin spring made the largest difference. The downside was that I experienced numerous light primer strike with CCI primers. I'm now on a 5 lb firing pin spring and haven't been having any light primer issues.

I'm also still struggling a bit with the Glock trigger. 1-2 inches left of POA at 15 yards. Doing timed drills just makes it worse. Will continue to work on it but wonder if it is the trigger or just a matter of overall fit.

I had this problem during a CQB clinic. Instructor told me to use the pad of my finger instead of shoving finger in all the way. It made a big difference.

And don't forget your rear sight is easily adjustable.
