Depends on the size of your gas port. How long is the barrel? What ammo are you using? standard carbine spring or stronger spring?
If you start with a standard carbine buffer and spring and find it is cycling harshly or you feel the trigger slapping your finger then go to a heavy buffer. I've never tried a 9mm buffer but when I had my 6.5 inch AR I ran a full auto bolt carrier and a Spikes heavy buffer and it cycled great.
There are too many factors and you haven't given enough info to really give you a great answer. Even the type of ammo you use will effect your rifles cycling so you'll need to fire it and see how it does then make adjustments from there. Chances are that a full auto carrier and a medium to heavy buffer will give you good results but there's no guarantee.
It's an aero 7.5" barrel, standard carbine spring. Will be shooting norc 5.56 and pmc 62 gr stuff. I've got a FA BCG in there... So will try and find an h2 or h3 and see how she goes... Thanks all for the info
