I have one in the 3-15 variant. I really like it. Is is not a Scmidt and Bender by any means.
However I feel the glass is very good for the price. The zero stop works very well and is super easy to set. The turrets feel pretty good they are audible. I found them a bit mushy at first but after running them up and down a bit they got much better. Probably working some grease out of it. Also in the extreme cold when I am hunting they are a bit less tactile. Between my gloves and being -20 or colder I understand.
The sunshade is nice. Mine is the exact same dimensions as a 5-25 schmidt without a shade.
The flip up caps were alright. I liked that they flipped over past 90 degrees to lay against the scope. I still managed to smash them. But it took longer than expected and it happened in the cold.
The parallax adjustment is nice. I found the ranges to be pretty close to where I would adjust them personally.
I really like the illuminated reticle dial being on top of the parallax knob. At first I was worried I'd be turning on the reticle when I would adjust the parallax. Not an issue.
The power ring is very smooth. I find the tension to be about perfect. I can easily adjust it in any weather condition regardless of gloves or mitts and I have never noticed it move while carrying it. I sling my rifle across my chest so its aleays rubbing against my gear, still no issue.
The glass does darken up a bit at full power. Its not as noticeable without the sunshade however. It does gather light quite well and I could easily identify and shoot game much prior to or after legal shooting light. I have no other good way to quantify that.
Overall I am very happy with it. I might even pick up another one in 4-20 or something for if I ever get my 338 Edge built.
