OK, I get the Canadian dollar is tanking and the economies of scale will always favour the US, but let's get real here.
I went looking at an AR replacement gas block and I saw some in the US in the $10 range. These are apparently ITAR items and, since I don't want to get up close and personal with the BATF, I
had to refine my search to Canadian vendors.
I now see what looks like virtually the same item in Canada going for $60.
One site even proudly says "Made in Canada".
I don't mind keeping my limping loonie in Canada and really don't mind paying a bit more for something made here. But folks, six times the price? Am I missing something, or maybe Google brought me to the wrong lost of vendors.
