New Products: DA556 Complete Upper and Lower Receivers

Got my upper yesterday. After a good cleaning it is a nice 20" upper fixed carry. Question will a carbine buffer work with this upper?

I have no reason to believe a carbine buffer wont work. Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject can answer you with certainty.

I am running a Dominion Arms 20" 1/9 twist upper with a carbine stock and buffer. No issues at all so far, using 55 grain AE ammo.

Have they upgraded the thread pattern to allow an American made A2 buffer to be installed?
The buffer tube / stock assembly I installed on my DA556 rifle is USA made commercial spec, and screwed on easily, replacing the fixed factory stock.

I'm thinking about buying a lower and waiting for a right priced upper to come along on the EE as I'm in no hurry for an AR, will the DA's fit most uppers out there, with some minor sanding/filing where necessary?

I'm assuming loose tolerances are the norm with these chinese lowers?

I'm building an upper for my DA556 on an Aero Precision part. The AP upper fits the DA556 lower _better_ than the original upper, which still fit quite well to begin with. Given that experience, I wouldn't be concerned about it...

I ordered a lower and have been looking on the EE. I am saving $100 over a used one. This should fit my NEA 7.62x39 upper and now I wont have to use my lowers from my other AR's.

I have this combo. Get yourself an extra power hammer spring.
