Ranger plates on lar-15

Do the magpul ranger plates work with the lar-15 mags? If so
Which generation.

I have g2 LAR mags (angled bottom). I just put in magpul ranger plates for USGI magazines. Only place I could find them was questar. They work great!

What brand LAR? I have the grey ones questar sells and no issues loading rounds.

I always felt the 10rnd Lar15 mags were too short. Considered buying the "other" longer mags but not sure about the polymer ones and the crimping of the aluminum mag body.

File off about 1 mil on the follower and you will get 10 rds in no problem

I just put them on the C product ones I have (slanted bottom), ground off a bit of the follower guides and I was good to go.

In that case screw ranger plates and go with a coupler. Same length and curve of the longer mags.
