Like the Mosin snipers from Molot certificate of authenticity. I can do it my self. There is one mark on Mauser sniper that is hardly ever spoken about plus no fakes have them. Read ask, someone will tell you. I would ask you for close up photo of one area of the rifle but then I would give my knowledge for free

Even worse... It's a Michell's Mauser!

No, not even close. This "Franken98" is a clone of a gun that never existed.

It's a Michell's Mauser Yugoslav M48 of which someone installed a reproduction WWII German long side rail mount and reproduction Zeiss Zeilvier scope.

Obviously, someone got ripped off and doesn't know it... Or trying to rip off someone else.

Not all Molots are fakes, actually most of old Molots are refurbished and forcematched but still original sniper rifles, mounts and scopes. So Mitchel does not equal to Molot in terms of faking.

Its a Yugo crested k98. M48 doesn't have the take down disk.

Forget it man, wonjar is convinced every pu to come out of Russia is a fake despite evidence to the contrary.

So you have not gained any knowledge off of this forum from what others have posted? This would be quite the forum if that was the attitude of everyone else, that being, "I know something but I'm not telling".

It seems this string has nothing but opinionated uneducated penniless morons who would not know the difference between authenticity and their collective walking talking rectums, but what can one expect from a bunch of redneck loons!!!

This rifle is not a Mitchels Mauser or any other Hybrid version of a Mauser K98. The receiver and the bolt on a K98 are different to any other hybrid Mauser rifle including the M48. A genuine K98 also has a steel hole in the stock to remove the firing pin, neither the M48 nor any other hybrid Mauser conversion had this hole.

Please note the Obendorf Mauser Proof Stamps on the Barrel, no Yuogo manufactured or Hybrid had these Obendorf Arsenal proof stamps on them, with these marks you can tell and trace it back too which plant the actual rifle was build in.

It has all the stamped markings for the Kingdom of Yugoslavia for WWII, It has been scrubbed of most of the German markings but some remain in obscure places, it is marked with the Yugo crest on the receiver along with Preduzece 44 on the side of the receiver, the scope mount is an arsenal installed Zeiss QD mount with a Zeiss Zielvier Sniper Scope with all relevant stamped Zeiss markings, they are currently available on eBay for $750.00 CND and upwards, use what little brains you have to do some research or to ask questions as your ass - sumptions are killing your integrity.

And as to the avatar, again look it up before you shoot your worthless mouths off.
