RE 15 loads

Ok getting some latter loads ready using Varget and 155&168 pills. I came across a few pounds of RE 15 so I'm curious if any of you have had good results. Cheers

It is the best powder that I have used. It beats all other recommended powders in my M305 mounted in a EBR Sage stock. 1 moa at 100 meters with a 10 round group. The US military is using it in their sniper systems. Only one problem, RE15 is not available anywhere in Canada at this time. If you can find it buy it. MilSpec load is 44.3 grains with 168 grain SMK. I use 42 grains RE15 with 168 grain SMK. I use a grooved Sadlak piston for the 168 grain bullet to reduce gas pressure and strain on the op rod. Yur milage may vary.

I was the Technical Director of a small ammo company that made special ammo for military and police. We also made some ammo for Target Rifle shooters. I recall selling some of the drums of RL15 and IMR4895 to re-loaders.
