Does this actually exist? Non-corrosive 7.62X39 with a non-steel bullet?

If so, who makes it and who sells it in bulk quantities?

My LGS has 50cal ammo cans from Federal with brass cased, US made, copper jacketed ammo. I think it's 500rnds in a can or something like that? It's not cheap though, around $.75/round.

I couldn't find any that wouldn't brake the bank so I started reloading my own. Now doing them for around 40cents each(after first reload). Buy used brass from local range & reload away....first reload was around 65 cents each. P&D in Edmonton had 123gr projectiles for $65 for a bag of 200.

from what I have heard when you reload for 762x39 you should use Mil spec primers . less of a chance of a slam fire . so I have heard . CCI makes them . correct me if I'm wrong .

Most semi auto guns will tap the primer a bit when chambering a round. I have never had a slam fire but if you look at rounds of I have chambered in both the sks and my 9mm JRC there is a small dent. I wouldn't be too worried.

Op was asking for a non-corrosive round with a non-steel bullet in bulk. There was no stipulation on case material. Canada also has the same stuff in FMJ.

bimetal jacket is steel. So a magnet will stick. The round you are talking about is a lead core with steel in the jacket. Read what you quoted.

I just ordered 10K rounds of 7.2 x 39 hollow point non-corrosive Dominion ammo from Canada Ammo. It exists. ;)

Damn, I got to start stocking up on that stuff to feed my Vz58s.

10,000 rounds for $2625 is a hell of a deal anyway you put it. Even better is the Norc deal at 9600 rounds for $1932... Even better-better is 14,400 rounds for $2772... Even better-better-better is 19,200 rounds for $3717 you get the family discount and you save $1100! But you tap-out at $0.20 a round. Now... At $0.05 a around that would be super awesome-o power better-better-better!

Is that Dominion stuff really non-corrosive? I heard someone tested it on a nail or something and it rusted???
I want some for my NEA-39. I did corrosive for a while in my old CZ 858 and I'm not going down that road again.

One retailer was selling the Chinese military surplus spam cans as "non-corrosive" when they 100% were corrosive. The stuff at Canada Ammo is new production commercial ammo, not military surplus, and has been confirmed from several sources to be non-corrosive.

Still bimetal jacketed though so some places wont allow it even though it's a hollow point :(

Yes, CanAm has repeatedly affirmed this is non-corrosive. Lever Arms was selling "non-corrosive" Chinese milsurp, but some of the rounds tested it faill the bright nail test.

Not too too common but it does happen with SKS's. Of my 5 (3 Norc 2 russian) 1 of the Norc's doubles on reloads, the others seem fine.
