I saw a left hand Ruger all American in 7mm-08 listed today. I would prefer the Vangard but it is another option if you cant wait for the Howa

Phil, if the LH Howa 1500 is equally as good as the RH version and I see no reason why it shouldn't be there will be a lot of very satisfied buyers.
I have only had my 1500 a few short months, but so far I'm really impressed.
My 1500 is putting a For Sale tag on a bunch of rifles in my safe...
