Saint Valentines Day Massacre 2-gun Match

Thanks for another great match guys! You guys put in a lot of hard work and it showed. The stages were fun to shoot. Also my thanks go out to all the sponsors for giving us an extra incentive to freeze our butts off :) In my case, the equipment worked great but when it comes to the shooter, whatever could go wrong, did go wrong, including not minding my basics, not internalizing the instructions and poor stage planning. Still had lots of fun and I'm glad I came out :)

Hey guys great match today, fun and challenging, thanks for hosting it, 1st time out to Galt, will definately be returning for the next match.

Cheers

Well done everyone. It was a heck of an accomplishment just to shoot the stages in this kind of weather, regardless of how you placed.
The pistol targets were unforgiving to say the least! Probably the most difficult multigun match we have put on to date, and that is not even factoring in the weather! Chris R. was the top shooter of the day, followed by Matt E. and then Jeff A..

Steve S. won the upper...details just went out via email to all of the participants. Here is a link to the results: https://practiscore.com/results.php?uuid=15937C58-D9AA-4538-8653-07BBBE83F378&page=matchCombined

I can't say enough good things about the crew we have at The Galt Sportsmens Club : these guys (and gal) give so much and ask for nothing. Without them, these matches just wouldn't exist.

The RO's braved the same weather and didn't even get to shoot, so my hat's off to you guys! Also thanks go out to Select Shooting Supplies, NEA and Xylotek Solutions for sweetening the match with some cool prizes :)

Sadly I was on my way there but am forced to pull out! :(

Allow me to thank you on behalf of all Canadians every time you "pull out". Lord knows we do not need more Cbabes out there!

Seriously what a tremendously challenging match. I could not feel my trigger finger after the first stage............

Honourable mention should be made to Stormbringer...the only shooter who had enough situational awareness to realize on his own that the die on stage 2 was loaded :d

Can't say enough good things about the organization of this event, top notch, every official was happy and cheerful, even in those frigid conditions. We shooters found it cold and we were huddled around the burning barrel when we weren't shooting.

The match was challenging, who would have though that my IPSC loads wouldn't have enough oommpphh to puncture a balloon.

Congratulations to Tony , aka "Iron Man" for taking the irons division.

And most of all, thank you for the amazing prize of the NEA upper, it's in one of my favourite calibres too. The perfect gift for Valentine's Day. I will make sure it gets taken out regularly and exercised.

Great run match , Course was a work out for both pistol and rifle . Really think Galt has something going on with the way firearms saftey is looked at . Escorts between ranges and good postive direction on handling during stages goes a long ways . Well Done Again Guys .
