10mm ammo

10mm is always a little scarce it seems.

Lever arms in Vancouver has some listed but ammo is pick up only. (and their price is on the steeper side)

The only thing factory 10mm loads are good for is getting brass to reload. Factory loads are not much different than 40 short and weak but cost quite a bit more.
If you own a 10mm and don't reload for it you may as well sell it.
I've bought factory loads for mine at Wholesale Sports a few times. I recently found a local retailer with brass in stock so I picked up 500 pieces of new Winchester brass and will no longer need to buy factory ammo to get brass :)

If you need brass give P&D in Edmonton a call. I haven't been in there for a while so I'm not sure if they still have any.

It seems demand for 10mm is picking up so I wonder if that will ever translate into more production and lower cost. Given it is basically a marginally larger 40, too bad it is 2x the price.

when the 10mm first came out I got some factory American Eagle in the US
not positive but pretty sure it was $13/50
9mm was $8/50
and the exchange rate then wasn't quite as bad as now

What pistols have you or do you own in 10mm?
I only have a Glock 21 with a Storm Lake 10mm barrel and 20lb spring.
I have a barrel sitting at home from a Delta and if I can find a 1911 in 40 I'd have the 10 fitted.
A buddy of mine own's an STI Perfect 10 that is one of the nicest pistols I've ever shot but is a little out of my pistol budget.
