The Shooting Edge.

Get one.

Well,
I knew YOU were going to say that:dancingbanana:

Do you guys figure it would be better to go the FABARM over a Remmy 870 project gun?

Cash is not a problem for this purchase... I just want to do it right. I think my Mossy 590A1 might need to be replaced with a FABARM SAT8 has my home zombie gun...Or complimented...ya, complimented as I love 'mr. pokey' on the front of her.

I have one and love it. its my zombie and bear gun as well. the only thing is that its hard to get accessories at the local shop, ive had to Mcguyver most of my stuff to get it to fit.

Spend the money and get the best you can afford if you are going to use it. If your not going to use it, finish your Rem 870 project gun then!

I have a Mossy 590a1 at the moment...had an 870 and it really didn't do it for me.

I agree and always buy the best one can afford...cheap gets expensive in the longrun.

I plan to be packing it as the Mossy is not exactly a fishing gun.

Ohh well the Mossy is a good gun but the Fabarm is a great gun to start off with and you pay a little more at the beginning. I would maybe check out to see what accessories each shotgun has to offer and price it all out. If the difference is like $200 then I would go with the Fabarm.

I have one with the regular stock. Pictures are posted on this forum somewhere. Mine's the one with the muzzlebrake. I like it a lot. It's light, fun to shoot, and looks good.

How's the Fabarm in adverse conditions? i.e. carried in the woods all day, everyday, in the rain, snow, and sleet. Plus dirt! rust?

whats the price tag?

The receiver is alloy and the barrel is chrome lined. As long as you kept the barrel properly oiled/cleaned, you're good to go.

I think I'm gonna have to get me one of those when TSE gets their next shipment of them in...

Didn't somebody here have pics of a smaller aftermarket forend for the Fabarms?

Are you talking about this forend??

This forend isn't aftermarket....it is a Fabarm short forend. I like it better than the big one.

They usually have both at Shooting Edge.
I put the muzzle break on mine and it helped a huge amount in muzzle rise allowing me to get a faster bead with slugs rapid fire :dancingbanana:

That's the one!!! Where did you find it? The larger forend is my only beef with the Fabarms.

It came from " The Shooting Edge " I seem to remember it costing about $128 a little pricey but you get a whole new forend which includes the action bars and bolt carrier.
