FABARM Pro Forces Martial 14inch etal

Mine's a bit differant, has a cheek pad on the other side, and three straps to keep it on tight. I found that one on eBay

This forend isn't aftermarket....it is a Fabarm short forend. I like it better than the big one.

How did you get the Fabarm Martial with the rail and ghost site barrell? Was that done after? That is the setup I want, but I have only seen the Martial with a bead site, and the Martial Pro Forces with the setup you have...

argh.
this is a myth spread by 870 fanboys mainly to bash mossbergs. please do not post this unless you actually have a 'worn out' aluminum receiver to prove it.

i have an old mossberg 500 with an aluminum receiver that i bought used which has seen a cumulative 4000+ rounds and has been cycled far more than that and it barely shows any wear inside the receiver. it shows no more wear than an 870 in similar condition.

in fact youll appreciate the lighter weight and corrosion resistance of an aluminum receiver. the only thing i dont like about the aluminum receiver is that i cant parkerize it :(

If you are still unsure of the fabarm, consider the costs . Add up the costs of a Remington or mossberg with the same features. Rail mounts, flip up sights, short barrel all add up . With the fabarm, all from factory .

I will say hearing protection is a must for a 14 inch barrel.

I have no complaints on mine.
 
fabarms are very well made shotguns,the only issue i have with them is that because they are light i find the recoil pad o nthem somewhat useless.
But someone came up with a really good way to fix that.

Hey JR, are you getting any of the Axis Trap 32" in? I saw the Axis STL at your shop last week but it was in a 28" barrel and a Sporting model.

And yes, I am getting into Trap. Did my first outing of trap with the Fabarms 14" + 6" barrel extension a month ago. Shot 14 out of 15 clays! (Note: one flight pattern and same station, kind of cheating once you get the hang of the flight path of the clay!).

that tactical model fabarm looks WAY better... I owned a pro forces and later sold it, found the long pump handle to have a bit of friction on the reciever if holding it at the back, I really shoulda kept the gun though, while the light weight meant serious felt recoil, it would also be a really great backup gun to keep on your back. it IS a very nice looking gun with a seriously awesome feel, and those fiber optic sights are outstanding, but if you plan to shoot lots with it and show off how cool it is, youre gonna be in for a bit of a sore shoulder if you dont shoot lots of heavy recoil guns. its also a very pricy gun, but if you want a tricked out pump 12 guage its cheaper than buying an 870 and doing it up (although probably not cheaper than working from a norinco).
 
I had Fabarm 14" barreled shotgun. From some reason I could load only four rounds in magazine compare to five rounds in my Remington 870 14" with +1 extension. (Too) long mag spring???
Does anyone know if the issue with forend stretching receiver was fixed? How about side saddles for this gun, anybody got them for sale?
