Winchester 9422 Values

Hey guys looking for some expertese. What are people currently paying for the 9422? I know there's a couple different models but prices seem to be all over the place. Are trapper models worth more and if so how much more? What about the magnums? Thanks.

My friend sold a shooter grade on the EE for $500 (or $550), and wasn't on for more then 2 hours.

Better investment than a Bateman.
Price seems to have doubled over the last kupple years.

For a G-Note, I'd invest in something else.

Never seen or heard of a "trapper" so I'd expect it to be real expensive.
They are great guns and should be scooped up in the $500 and under range.

How would you compare a 94/22 to a marlin 39?
Price wise, performance notes, etc.

Very different feel in the hands.
39's are mostly pistol grip with longer barrels and a slightly stiffer action and the receivers are mostly drilled and tapped for a rail.
94's are mostly straight grip, shorter barrels and smoother action and have a dovetailed receiver

39's are still being made where as the 94's are not.

Never pass up a good deal on a 94 or 39.

To me, the 9422 is smoother... the 39 has more 'substance', and cycling the action is more like the 36. Like them both.

As for price, seems like 9422 go for $600 and up, never seen trapper for sale...
