Doing a C7A2 Build but need part sources

Well some people on here just need to be know it alls

I bought a triad from Jims Junk and he emailed me today saying people from here were emailing him threatening/complaining about the supposed legality of his mounts so he is sending them all back to the DND source he got them from for inspection.

So bravo whomever that was, we complain about being over policed by the RCMP but we blade vendors at the drop of a hat.

Those of us who are/were CF know the outcome of this. A bunch of pointy heads and Sgts will get in a room and debate this and in the end the loudest rank will win regardless if their opinion is right or wrong.

Glad that so many vendors go out on a limb to get us products we want and more and more I see us ruin it for everyone because we are all lawyers/JAG Officers apparently.

Stupid people... Good example of envious people who work with this rule: If I can't get it... No one will!

#### off nerds! And if you really can't stand not having a stupid piece of #### triad join the CF.
 
Afghanistan first week a "cgn"er helped me swap the Ambi mag release and stupid charging handle back to A1, I think I forgot to ask to have it back. Oh well did that person a favor.

Jeezuz, what a gigantic pain in the ####. So, you have to send your triad back to him to return to the source????
 
Doubt it. Some pointy head will misinterpret the rules (or not even bother to read them) and just decide that they are Class A items and he has no right to them......so into a melt down bin they will go.

That day I look over all my pouches and equipment just to make sure I had no empty casings... ;)

Im air force so its the norm on a daily basis, I got snitched on in Kuwait because I might of had some really strong Scope.... lol....

But you can't trust anyone anymore. Thank goodness for the old school guys that still give heads up before MP's ravage thru your locker :cool:
 
I disagree, I have observed over the last 20 years that the level of stupid has been pretty constant in the CF.

Flickers of common sense over the years, but they have been quickly extinguished by the drones.
 
And that's just how they roll here! Stupid noting lots of this stuff came back to the States, and it's not illegal once exported.

Items that went to the US under the terms of an end user certificate might be problematic, if the terms and conditions of the end user certificate were violated.
Export from the US would require documentation.
It is not in CGN's interest to be a marketplace for the buying and selling of stolen CF kit. If provenance in not clear, don't buy or sell it here.
