Your apology is full of holes...

Now THIS is WAY COOL ! ! ! ! ! Warren truss bridge or crane boom design in a slide ! ! ! ! I wonder why they used the rectangular cut out on the top. Sort of ruins the design. I'd also think it makes the slide too light to balance well with the recoil spring to provide the right cycling.

The rectangular cut out is the original lightening cut on a long slide glock. As a tool and die maker i can admire the machine work....and i'll leave it at that lol

Now this is a fellow that paid attention when his folks said to him "if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all.". :D

I'm very much in the "why?" camp as well. It does look great though.

I try lol. I'd think loosing that much weight off the slide would make it awful jumpy but it sure would turn heads on the range i'm sure. Someone burned up some carbide tools machining that slide! Asumming it was one of the tennifered ones anyways. I'd be game to shoot it just to see what it handled like.

Glad your making amends for the momentary Beiber incident. Enough said about that fool.

Your new creation reminds me of the WW2 B29 bomber, or spitfire paint jobs.

As to Glocks there a great pistol and my go to gun.

Comments like this, are to plane nutz, as "the shoulder thing that goes up", is to gun Nutz.

Fyi ;-)

@ KodiakJack:Spitfires (Australian) had a sharks mouth, as did an Avro Lancaster. A P-51, B-29, and certainly B-24 and B-25 had sharks mouth schemes...and so many others...Allied and Axis.

Just saying that you you may not be as much of a "plane nut" as you think and might consider a point of clarification to Stiker SW.

;^)
