Savage 9317 FV-SR~who has one?

Hey guys~the magnum versions of the FV-SR seemed to materialized a while back with absolutely no fanfare ...but I'm wondering who bought one, where, and how they like it? Particularly interested in accuracy reports on the 9317 FV-SR. If you have one, what ammo does it like best~17gr. or 20gr? Thanks!

17gr Federal premium. It is an absolute freekin laser beam. I just sighted in my new fv-sr in .17hmr today and out of 8 shots at 100m 7 were in the same hole. the 8th was touching the 7 shot group. Insane!

i loved my fvsr mk2 so much i grabbed one in 17hmr...great at 150 yds or less. im not sure the 17 likes the 16.5 barrel, my std 93r17 outshoots it all day long. also the 93 17 fvsr does not have a fluted barrel like its little brother.

hey hey now, watch it ! I picked up a 16 inch 93R bull in 17 hmr and at 100 yards put 3 rounds in same hole, the 5 shot group was sub moa. Pic to prove if need be. No fluted barrel but that's fine, I like the threaded barrel I put a griffen flash hider on it, looks slick.
