Wasn't sure if I should post this here or not. A 1945 LB all correct and matching that came with a butchered stock. I haven't shot it yet but have managed to get the preasure about right. not sure if I like it or not yet...



 
ive had it for a while. a friend with a copyer made it for me about a year ago. it need some tweeking but im happy enough with it for a shooter. and yea its lam
 
Good looking wood! As someone above said, it looks better than some of the poor butchered "sporters". Wish I had a friend giving me stocks like that one!

Edit: I would imagine that I am not the only one wondering what "preasure" means...
 
for a number 4 to shoot at its best, you have to have some preasure up on the front of the bbl. can be very tricky to get it just right

Tell me about it. An old fellow told me when I was working on my first one, that it was only the "first 100 that are complicated. After that it gets easier". :)

Devil's in the details. So many No4's around, few with good forend bedding!
