Franchi shot guns

My buddy has a Franchi Instinct SL Over and Under Shotgun and a Franchi affinity semi auto shotgun both are 12ga are the chokes interchangeable between the 2 guns he tryed to switch around the chokes around found them tight and didn't want to damage the gun does anyone no if they are interchangeable

The owners manual for each firearm would be a good starting point .or contact stoger canada . I know the 20ga L model uses the mobile choke.

For what its worth my Franchi Renaissance uses the same chokes as my Beretta A303 (mobile chokes) and I don't believe the SL is anything more than an updated Renaissance.

Both guns use the Mobil choke system, so chokes are interchangable.
