Magpul BEV Block - Anyone in Canada selling them?

Brownells can't ship it to Canada.

Does anyone in Canada currently carry it?

Not really interested in the Gieselle reaction rod.
 
Would everyone agree that this is a non-itar controlled item? Being that it is a tool and not an actual firearm component?

it is not whether we agree or not it is what US States Department decides, however I believe the Magpul issue might have something to do with an exclusive Canadian distribution rights than ITAR regulation.
 
The reason Brownells won't send anything Magpul to Canada is because of the above mentioned Canadian distribution rights.

Bingo. Someone decided to protect their Canadian market and f'ed us all. Thankfully some stores have dropped their Magpul prices like OST.

Dunno, I just put one in my basket and bought it. Just showed up. Maybe someone was asleep at the wheel or the person you talked to was misinformed? Not sure bud.

If you don't mind paying through the nose they sell them on eBay too for like 80 before shipping

Anyways, it's a sweet little item. If you work on rifles a lot I would invest in a dedicated upper block like the reaction rod. But it's great for someone like me who just tinkers and does minor smithing. I'm very happy with it. Gonna try and get the wrench to go with it now.

Sandy told me that the BEV block was a no-no. I ended up getting mine from Saskatoon Gunworks when they had the Black Friday sales and free shipping.

I was about to buy the Geissele Reaction Rod but glad I found out about these! The BEV Blocks are built like a tank and lock up solid.

I thought mine was loose, but than found about the putting the BCG in the back and it's a lot better.
