DD MK18 optic and sights?

If I really have too I can add them to my next import with IRUNGUNS. I am not able to view the EE yet, I really need to get on that. Seems thats where all the hard to find stuff is at. I just love being able to go on a website and click away and get everything I need delivered to my door easily. Though it seems like its not that easy for this harder to find stuff

I might be in the minority, but I really like the Mk18 Mod 0 builds out there.

Im a fan of "simple and effective". I went with Magpul PRO BUIS, and a EOTech 552 on my Daniel Defense MK18

I went with the EoTech EXPS3-0 in FDE with a G33 magnifier also in FDE, I ordered it last weeks so I expect to receive them this week sometime. They might actually already be here as I got a text from home today saying I have a package notification from Canadapost for a package that they tried to deliver today but I wasnt home.
I haven't received the rifle yet as Wolverine is still waiting on the CFO transfer to go through, but along with the rifle I also ordered a Geissele SSA-E trigger kit
And last night I put in some orders for some other parts, I went with the following parts
LMT spomod stock in black ( I wanted FDE but I seen some pics and their FDE isnt what Im looking for, so I just went with the black)
Tango down quick release forgrip in FDE
Ranier Arms charging handle
knights Armament trigger guard
Troy BUIS in FDE (M4 front/circle rear) May replace with KAC if I can ever find them in stock anywhere
Noveske KX3 (on back order but ordered anyways to see if I can get one)
Thats it for now, next I plan to buy bulk ammo and LAR mags for it. So next question where can I buy good quality LAR pistol mags for this thing? And what ammo do you guys recommend? Seems I can get American Eagle, PMC, or Norinco readily available
I've shot a little bit of everything trought mine and it eats everything you feed it, I'm more than halfway in a Norc case and havent had a single malfunction to date, I,m gonna have to ride it much harder I think.
I'm not a fan of the LAR mags personally, I'd wait for the Beowulf if I was you, I've bought a AA 5/10 from the EE cause I didn't want a crimped mag but the price was a little steep...

Weird... EO reticle always looked good to me, no issues whatsoever. With that being said, for more "tactical" shooting I love my Meprolight M21. No batteries whatsoever to worry about whether February 29th comes or not

Try to focus on the target and not on the sight.
It was not the cheapest price but they had FDE for both so I just said screw it and ordered them

Now about the Eotech, I have problems with my right eye from an accident. Therefore I have to use my newly dominant left eye as of about the last 3 years. I have gotten better at using my left eye and I am pretty sure its good, either way its the best I got. And although I am new to firearms, I am not that new that I am looking at it wrong or backwards. I have a Trijicon RMR on one of my pistols and though it does not have the circle like the Eotech, that dot is sharp and crisp compared to this Eotech dot or circle

I will have to see how it all works out when I get to shoot it, its not like I regret the purchase just surprised me that its so grainy. From what I read its because its an actual hologram they are a little grainy compared to a laser, etc
Anyways Wolverine shipped my rifle yesterday, and I got shipping notifications for 2 more shipments of parts for it. So either before the weekend or early next week I will post up a pic of all the parts for this build before I get to the fun part of putting them all on and testing

No offence meant, I've been shooting for some time now, in every sector imaginable, and have a nice collection going, and I still had the EOtech on backwards for the first hour! LOL it's not like the manual showed much on that...

Like I said they didn't have the cheapest price but they had both in stock at one place so I said screw it and just ordered them, and actually I bought a few other little parts so it was roughly $1500 order. Yes I could have gotten a black set much cheaper, but what I have been figuring out so far about guns and gun parts in Canada. Is that if a company has what you want in stock in Canada jump on it, because you either wont be able to find it anywhere else in stock in Canada or you have to pay more and wait longer for one to be imported for you. Like my pistols, I have a $3500 modified Glock 17, I paid a lot of money for a green RMR (again because they were the only company in Canada I could find that had green in stock, red were a dime a dozen and cheaper but I really wanted green so I paid more for it) the pistol also has been completely modified with Zev parts I imported from California. Some of those parts took 3 months from the day I ordered them to the day I got them, I actually have another shipment on the way from IRUNGUNS and its been about 4 months since I ordered them.
So yeah basically I don't mind spending more for something I really want weather it be a particular model or color. And if I really have too I will even order it from the US and import it, but if I can avoid that wait and hassle by paying more for it in Canada I'll do it. Another example is that Noveske KX3, I really wanted one and I saw Questar had one or 2 in stock, but I was still looking around at other products. Sure enough the day I go to actually order it from Questar they now have zero left in stock and its back ordered. So I may or may never actually get one, it was expensive but now that I cant order one Id pay even more for it LOL
If it came down to it and I got another optic, Id most likely just keep this one for another rifle as I will be buying/building more in the future. I already took a loss paying the higher price for it, so I wouldn't want to loose even more selling it for cheaper used. Im going through that same thing right now, since I moddified my Glock17 so much I have basically every part needed left over to build another stock Glock 17. And a buddy wants to buy it from me, and I just cant seem to sell it, even thou I will probably rarely shoot it, Id still rather keep it in my collection....I guess I am more of a buyer not a seller
I don't know if its just me, but the Eotech did seem to be a little less grainy when I looked at it through the magnifier. I think I really need to wait till I get it on the rifle and out the the range to judge how much that grainy look with affect shooting
Do the EXPS3 all come with night vision capability? Or do you pay extra for that?
And you know what I just looked on another site and what I paid isnt actually that bad, Wolverine where I ordered the rifle from is out of stock but the EXPS3-0 in tan is $35 more then what I paid, and the G33 magnifier I paid $14 more then what they have it listed for. So kinda strange cheaper on one thing more expensive for the other but all around not that much price difference
