Mounts for a .300 WBY

I'm looking for recommendations on rings and based for a Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in .300 WBY. I'ts a '75 Japanese model and I'd like to keep it classic looking. The scope will be a Leupold M8 6x.

Tally light weight or QD.
Sculpted Leupold looked good in my Weatherby, but I have had to shim the last two pair I bought
(R700 and Abolt).

IMO the classic setup is the Buehler mounts, which were later also sold under the Weatherby name. They are no longer in production but you can find them on the EE and you may be able to find some NOS if you look hard enough.

Probably the best choice. Any thing but windage adjustable bases or millet any thing

Check out the Weatherby web-site, they have Tally rings with the flying "W"...................
