Ruger AR556 coming to Canada?

Just wondering if anyone has heard if the budget ruger ar556 is coming here anytime soon, and if the price is going to be right?

Why wouldn't it be part of the Ruger offerings in Canada? No reason to exclude it.

It will make an affordable entry level Patrol Carbine that people can jazz up with the money saved on the initial purchase price.

How in hell would anyone on this forum know when the Ruger AR556 will hit the Canadian market? It's brand new in the US.

I can pretty much gurantee you they will get it first, also check out the auction houses, they can bring in stuff from gunbroker.

They are coming around late April, according to Ruger supplier in Canada when I emailed them. Big Rock Sports.

That cast FSB is pretty ratchet....
$700US will be over $1000CAD landed. TSE had Bushmaster 11.5" and 14.5" on sale for $879CAD just recently. We are not stuck with 16" barrels in Canada either, no need to buy that Ruger abortion LOL

Strange how others could get the info you wanted by asking the question of the source people.

As for slagging the Ruger AR556, the initial reviews are positive. It is an entry level offering of a basic carbine, not a flagship designed to compete with the big brand names.
If it puts more AR 15's into people's hands, that's a good thing.
