I am not sure how importing russian firearms works, but during a discussion we stumbled upon a queztion none of us were sure of.
With russian currency low is this going to translate into better pricing on svt 40 imports?
I am guessing no but thought I would ask.

Not because they are in Russia they want their national currency as payment.

Well we were talking to an american friend who was saying they cant really buy them in US because of some sort of ban russia has.
That led to this discussion.

SVT-40 were (4-5 years ago) like gold in the states. I've cousin in NV who couldn't believe they were going for 250-300 here.

How bout you explain to us the laws and regulations behind importing from Russia.

We are well aware they dont want Russian currency.
But with the economy tanking we wondered if prices would go down.

Your question would have made sense if recent imports had come from Russia. But they came from Ukraine. That's the short answer.

Perfect.
We did not know that.
Thanks you Horilka,
Sometime a person doesn't even want to ask on here due to trollers who forget the idea of a forum is to share info.
