Yea those aluminum forend are awsome, some. May fit really tight, and mine actually needs to be filed down just a tiny bit on the lower rail to be in total alignment with the top, doesn't make any difference though through feel to be honest, and it's close enough for me. I'm going to blame that fitment issue on the gun though, I hear a lot of them are out of spec in very small areas.

Zahal.org was good to deal with, shipping took about 4 weeks so not to bad from the other side of the world I guess.

Now if only I could get my hands on a left hand bolt.

Hey. Gun looks good. I don't know about that finish on the stock though. Match it with your hand guard.

*Apologies, photobucket seems to be drastically messing with the image quality again.

Anyways, this is my current setup. Thinking about adding some sort of muzzle brake, either Corwin Arm's slanted or the 8-port Czech military. Leaning more towards the slant brake due to its size, but I'm hearing conflicting reports on overcompensation and how it affects accuracy...

How is the accuracy and reliability with your 223 model, MMM?

Accuracy is really good with American made .223. Its best I found for factory is American Eagle .55gr BTFMJ which is consistently 2.00" - 2.25" at 100 meters with the scope.

It had a warranty issue and it had to be sent off to be fixed but after that its been as reliable as the CZ 858 I once owned.

My little collection... I've been slowly downsizing. The two short CSA's are my "keepers", and I think I have them both set up the way I want :) The longer one in the last two photos with the Galil stock is a CZH, and is currently on the EE.

I know this is a bit of an older post, but was that the stock finish on your CZH or did you have it sent to armacoat or something? I always thought the CZH finishes were more of a grayish colour than black.

How's this for tacticool :ar15: I had to try :)

Mags do not drop out so you'd have to reload from strip-clips. OAL of the Grizzly 'permanently mounted to the CZ as a stock' is still over the limit by 1/2 inch, so technically it's still non-res... not that its staying like this cuz it weighs a ton. Gotta wonder how the plastic FAB rail would hold up if the trigger is pulled... hmmmm... probably not a good idea.
