Sir!! If these are the "Queen's" of your safe...rejoice!!! You clearly have the "King!" Of safes!! :)
In fact....a closer look seems to prove that your safe may actually be a "Sheikh" because that looks more like a "Harem" then a couple of Queens! :)

I can't imagine owning functioning guns like these, and being faced with "dewat or destroy". Great pair of options, welcome to Canada. However, dewat seems like the only option. They will end-up as wall-hangers, but maybe the nicest ones there are. If I happen to win the lottery, the first message I send might be to you.

well if you talk to RCMP regarding dewat its implied it law, if not then its as good as, my point is strip the gun, do whatever to receiver to prevent its use and assemble back together, many old deactivations were simply a couple torch cuts on the side of receiver, then the workings were put back in, it cocks and everything moves but its legal and no registration is required, now with todays registration can it still be done?
 
I would be willing to buy a number of the 12(3) firearms shown here if I can get my BREN back from the RCMP lab anytime soon. My MP Diane Finley is going to bat for me.

I oftin think about getting a bren gun parts kit filling in the parts where the bolt rides and using it as a stock for a 10/22 or turning it into a propane blank firing gun

not much market for 12.2 anymore granted these a lot of people that missed the bus on that one considering that 1978 was the cut off date for it that means the that any bore before 1960 would have been good to go. but $1400 Marstar has FA mg42's for $3250
 
Your Vickers will be celebrating its 100th birthday in a year or two. Sure, weld up a 100 year old relic to meet the RCMP guidelines. Crapola.

lol... We could totally make it work. Maybe the officer needs a bit of persuasion, I'm sure for the right "offer" he could see the ufo as well, and also have a soar butt!
 
I hope you get your bren back from the RCMP ...like i said 3 years and waiting for may FAL...and you wonder why im thinking of dewatting ...if when the liberals get back in i can see that we will be totally fakked ...Harper had 4 years with a majority gov't to get rid of all the BS laws and the BS RCMP and bureaucrats and did he ..nope ..he did just what he said he would and nothing else ..im sure he will dangle some new change that will be great IF we send him more money and he gets another majority .. i hope im proven wrong but Im betting Im right ...

Im with you, lots of us are caught up in the 12x class, I didnt buy to sell and its not about the money. My interest in 12x remains even though things will never be the same. Mine now represent more, its been a long journey. Never throw away your past, what you value or the things you cant replace.
