Skeet/Sporting clay instruction?

You won't find any.

Lots of guys who could help you but there aren't any active nssa coaches in Canada at the moment c

Lots in the US and occasionally Todd bender or lp gianbrone visit ontario.

If you are really serious check out those guys websites and see if they are having any clinics in Washington state or surrounding areas.

That statement is incredibly false. There might not be many, but there are a few level 1 and 2 instructors in Canada.

Scroll to the bottom here, there's only one in Vancouver but lots in BC.

I can't help but wonder how often that list is updated, I personally know a couple of people on that list, and they haven't been active in a while.

From my understanding it's updated yearly as long as the person still qualifies as an NSSA instructor under the NSSA guidelines.

I looked at the list, true there are couple on (in ontario) there that would be more than happy to help, but if I was really looking for a coach to get somewhere, I wouldn't pick any of them.

But I guess that depends on your current level of ability.

And to add to stubble jumper, I know quite of a few on that list and most of them are inactive as coaches or shooters for that matter

Good luck!

What is your current level of ability? Are you a beginner? Stuck in D class? Trying to break a 100 but stuck at 99?

Probably not a beginner, but a far cry from 100 straight! Have had some success, but just don't seem to be getting "it" from how-to-books and videos. Need that one on one I struction or I just keep practising the same mistakes over and over.

Look up Bob LaRue in Kelowna. He's on the level 2 list.

I'm pretty sure he's quite active in coaching, and he is also a hell of a shooter.

If you are interested in NSSA skeet I'm sure he'll be able to get you down the right path.

Brad.

I took 2 lessons from Dan Schindler(level 3 NSCA) in Washington State last year. He has been coming to Washington to instruct for quite a few year now. He is a bit pricey but excellent. He teaches mostly pull-away. I will probably do a refresher with him again this year. I also know a few good level 2 coaches(NSCA) in Washington State with whom I shoot.

Hi. If the Mission gun club isn't too far for you to travel you should go there on just about any Sunday. There's a guy that shoots there... don't think he's an instructor or anything... but I bet if you asked him, he'd help you out. This guy can shoot! Nice guy, too. I can't remember his name offhand, but I think he shoots with a guy named Derreck. Ahem, I think they might have called him Curt. cou:... C.
